How it works

What happens after you ask us for something, what you pay, when it sails, and the answers to the things people ask us most.

Three ways to buy

1. Something we hold — buy it now

Listings marked In stock · buy now on our parts page are ours. Add them to the basket and check out: you see the full total before you commit, including delivery or the shipping documents and any card fee.

  1. You check out

Pick your island. In Trinidad we deliver to your door; anywhere else it goes by sea.

  2. You pay

By card on our bank’s secure page, by bank transfer (we hold it 48 hours while the transfer lands), or in cash to our driver for deliveries in Trinidad.

  3. We send it

You get an order number and a page to track it.

2. Something we have already found

Parts on our browse page were photographed at a supplier in Trinidad, with the price we were quoted. Add what you want to the basket and reserve it. Reserving costs nothing and holds you to nothing.

  1. You reserve

No card, no payment, no commitment.

  2. We check with the supplier

Within one business day, we confirm each part is still on the shelf at the price we were quoted.

  3. You get one total

All the confirmed parts, the shipping documents, and the freight arrangement, on one link, in your currency. Anything that has gone is named and left off.

  4. You pay and it ships

We collect, pack and put it on the next boat for your island.

3. Something we have to go and find

Most of our work. Tell us the part and the vehicle on the request form, or just message us. It does not have to be a car part — if you need something else brought out of Trinidad, ask.

  1. You tell us what you need

Part, vehicle, and a chassis number or photo if you have one.

  2. We canvass the suppliers we know

Usually the same day, and we come back with what is available and at what condition.

  3. We quote you

One price, in your currency. You decide.

  4. You pay and it ships

Same as the reserved parts above.

Paying us

CardVisa / Mastercard · 5% card fee
Bank transfer or depositNo fee
CurrenciesXCD · TTD · USD
Trade accountBy arrangement only

You are quoted in the currency of your island. Card payments carry a 5% fee because the processor charges us one; a transfer avoids it. Bank details are sent with your invoice, never published on this site — if anyone sends you account details claiming to be us from anywhere other than your invoice or our WhatsApp number, stop and check with us first.

Getting it to you

GrenadaSails Wednesday
St. VincentSails Thursday
Other islandsTwice monthly

Ocean freight. You pay us for the part and the shipping documents. The freight itself is settled by the consignee — you — at the destination port, along with any duty and clearing charges. That is how it is done here, and it keeps the number we quote you honest.

Air freight. For small, urgent, light things. Billed at cost once the package is actually weighed, so it cannot be quoted exactly in advance.

Sailing days are the schedule, not a promise. Weather, port congestion and customs are not ours to control, and we will not pretend otherwise by giving you a delivery date we cannot keep.

Electrical parts carry no warranty and cannot be returned

Alternators, starters, ECUs, sensors, switches, lamps, wiring, batteries and anything else electrical are sold as seen, final. We cannot test them before they leave and we cannot know how they are installed. Please be sure of the part number before you order one. This is the one rule we do not bend, for anybody.

Questions people ask

Do you only sell car parts?

No. Auto parts are most of our work, but we are a trading company and we buy all sorts out of Trinidad — tools, machinery, equipment, building materials, general goods. If you need something brought over, message us and ask. The worst answer you will get is a quick no.

Is reserving a part the same as buying it?

No. Reserving tells us to go and check. Nothing is charged, and you are not committed to anything. We confirm with the supplier within one business day and then send you a total. You decide after that.

Why can I buy some parts straight away, but others I have to reserve?

Parts marked In stock · buy now are ours. We hold them, so you pay and we send them out — no waiting. Everything else is a part we saw and photographed at a supplier’s counter. Somebody else may have bought it since, so we check first. We would rather make you wait a day than take your money for something that has gone. If your basket has both kinds, you buy the stock ones and we price the rest separately.

What does “foreign used” mean?

A used part out of an imported vehicle, usually Japanese. It is second hand and sold as seen. Where we show photos, they are of the actual item. If you want new or aftermarket instead, say so and we will price that.

How long does it take?

Sourcing is usually one to three days. After payment, it goes on the next sailing for your island — Wednesday for Grenada, Thursday for St. Vincent, twice monthly elsewhere. We will not give you a delivery date, because port and customs timing is not ours to promise.

Who pays the freight, the duty and the clearing?

On ocean shipments, you do, at the destination, as the consignee. What you pay us is the part and the shipping documents. We tell you what to bring to the port and what the paperwork says.

Can I return a part?

Electrical parts, never — no warranty, no refund, no exception. Everything else: check it as soon as you receive it and tell us within three days with photos if something is wrong. If we sent the wrong thing, we fix it at our cost. If the part is right but it does not suit you, or it was ordered on a part number you gave us that turned out to be wrong, that one is on you. The full wording is in our terms.

How do I make sure I get the right part?

Give us the chassis or VIN number. It is the only thing that identifies a vehicle exactly — year, model and trim are not enough on their own for most parts. A photo of the old part, or of its part number, is the next best thing. Five seconds of that saves a lot of shipping.

Do you deliver to my island?

Grenada and St. Vincent on a weekly schedule; the other islands twice a month. If yours is not on the list, ask — we can usually arrange it.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Yes. We quote in XCD, TTD or USD depending on where you are. You can see any part in all three on the browse page.

Can I collect in Trinidad myself?

No — we deliver. Anywhere in Trinidad we bring it to your door for a flat delivery charge, shown before you pay. You can pay the driver in cash, or pay by card or transfer up front.

I have my own goods in Trinidad. Can you just ship them?

Yes. We do shipping-only jobs. Message us with what it is, where it is and where it is going.

What customers say

Every one of these is from somebody who actually bought something from us. We do not write them and we do not edit them.
