We find the part, and we get it to your island
Islandlink Trading and Marketing is a small Caribbean trading house. We buy out of Trinidad and ship across the islands, and we do it the way a person would: somebody goes to the yard, looks at the thing, photographs it, and tells you what it costs.
What we actually do
Auto parts are most of our work — body panels, glass, engines, electrical, suspension, drivetrain, wheels — new, aftermarket and foreign used. Trinidad has depth that the smaller islands do not: the part you cannot find at home is usually sitting on a shelf there.
But parts are not all we do. We are a trading company. If you need something else brought out of Trinidad — tools, machinery, building materials, equipment, a container of goods, or a part for something that is not a car at all — ask us. If we can get it, we will tell you what it costs. If we cannot, we will tell you that too, quickly, rather than leave you waiting.
How we work
- You tell us what you need
A part name and the vehicle is enough to start. A chassis number, a part number or a photo makes it exact, and exact is cheaper than guessing.
- Somebody goes and looks
We deal with suppliers we know, in person. We do not take a price off a screen and hope.
- You get one price
The part, the shipping documents, and the freight arrangement, in your currency. Nothing hidden underneath it.
- You pay, and it sails
Grenada on Wednesdays, St. Vincent on Thursdays, the other islands twice a month. We tell you what boat it is on and what to bring to clear it.
Why we show you what we have already seen
Most of our parts page was photographed at a supplier’s counter in Trinidad, with the price we were quoted that day. Those parts are not ours until you commit, so before anything is charged somebody rings that supplier and confirms it is still on the shelf. That is why most listings say reserve.
Some listings are marked In stock · buy now. Those we hold ourselves, so you can pay for them on the spot and we send them out — delivered anywhere in Trinidad, or shipped by sea to your island.
When something sells we leave it up for a few weeks, marked sold, because it is the clearest proof we have that we find these things. If you see one that has gone, tell us — the same suppliers get the same parts in again.
